Psychological Services





Woodcliff has a staff of well trained School Psychologists who use applied cognitive
Behavior Modification to retrain students in effective school behavior. Students have
available individual counseling and group counseling in addition to behavior management
plans. Teachers are included in the planning and implementation of behavior management
plans.

Youngsters coming to Woodcliff often have a complex history of school failure. Some of
these discouraged young people demonstrate uncooperative behaviors. Others have
developed hostilities related to school rules or specific academic subjects. The Woodcliff
clinical program focuses on both the academic needs and the psychological needs of
students.
