Woodcliff has a staff of well trained School Psychologists who use applied cognitive Behavior Modification to retrain students in effective school behavior. Students have available individual counseling and group counseling in addition to behavior management plans. Teachers are included in the planning and implementation of behavior management plans.
Youngsters coming to Woodcliff often have a complex history of school failure. Some of these discouraged young people demonstrate uncooperative behaviors. Others have developed hostilities related to school rules or specific academic subjects. The Woodcliff clinical program focuses on both the academic needs and the psychological needs of students.
