The Woodcliff Diagnostic Teaching Method
Our students are carefully observed during the teaching process to determine their learning
styles. Educational strategies and instructional methods are then introduced to refine and enhance existing skills while new approaches are introduced to correct areas of weakness.
Woodcliff teachers have available many different materials and methods with which to
teach reading, writing and mathematics. Our classrooms are rich with ideas that motivate even the most discouraged of youngsters. The method that works is the method that is used. We believe that instruction must be matched to the learning style of the student. Woodcliff is able to carry out the Individual Educational Plans (IEPs) developed in conjunction with parents and school districts.
Individual instruction is provided when necessary to permit the teacher-student
instructional relationship every opportunity to progress rapidly through difficult learning periods. Flexibility and creativity combined with the specialized knowledge of our staff assure all possible resources will be used to develop every youngster to his/her fullest potential. |
